Remmy Sserwadda is a Ugandan  contemporary artist born in 1994 in Nsambya, Kampala. He is an emerging self-taught artist and he started painting in 2017.   He works with realistic human figures in conceptual postures with detailed backgrounds of African prints made mainly from Kitenge. 

He is inspired by what surrounds him especially his immediate circles, love issues crossing from Eros, agape and Phila. He believes that most of mans’ influence is based on love, religion and culture.

He has been a part of some joint exhibitions and had his first solo exhibition in June, 2021 at Xenson Art space. His work has been well received among collectors, Gallery owners and art lovers among others.
